FAQ
Auto Login and Filters
When a user auto logins into the dashboard as a dashboard viewer, the filters passed through the URL are not displayed within the user interface. The filters however, are applied to the underlying data. This is to protect users in multi-tenant scenarios from being able to view their organisation ID or similar.
To summarise
- Filters applied to the component or dashboard by the designer are viewable (but not editable) by the dashboard viewer.
- Security filters are invisible to the dashboard viewer.
- Filters passed through the URL are invisible to the dashboard viewer.
