FAQ
Can Intuitive co-exist on a server with other applications such as Alchemy, Bonita etc?
It is entirely plausible for the Intuitive software to coexist on a server alongside other applications, however the installation and setup can be more complicated. For example:
- If the server already hosts a website through internet information services (IIS), the Intuitive software would have to run within a virtual directory of that site, or run on a different port from the main site.
- If the server already hosts a SQL Server instance, the Intuitive software would have to either be installed into that instance or (if the pre-existing SQL was 2005 or earlier) another SQL Server instance created alongside it.
If you are considering installing the software onto a server which is already being used to host other application’s we would advise arranging having one of our consultant's available to support you remotely as you are likely to run into one or more problems whilst installing and configuring the software.
If you would like to arrange for one of are consultants to be available to assist please contact the Intuitive support team at: support@intuitivebi.com.
