Creating a new menu component
Menu components allow you to launch another dashboard
Open a component editor by selecting ‘Component Builder’ and ‘New Component’ from the menu.
Select a dataset from the list (the dataset is not required by the menu component, so this simply allows us to proceed to the next step).
Select the component type to build. In this case we want to build a HTML component. Please select the highlighted symbol on your screen.
Next open up the display options to edit the HTML by clicking on the symbol which looks like a computer monitor.
The menu buttons are created with a Dashboard Launcher. To create the dashboard launcher click on the highlighted symbol.
Fill in the required fields in the dashboard launcher.
Below is an example that has been completed.
