Dashboard Explanation (SAFEQ6)

In this module, we’ll cover the background information surrounding the dashboards for Intuitive for SAFEQ6.

In a standard implementation of Intuitive for SAFEQ6, there are 12 dashboards supplied, excluding Intuitive DX, which are listed down below.

  • Executive Summary
  • Cost
  • User Analysis
  • Volume Analysis
  • Printer Analysis
  • Scan Analysis
  • Environmental Impact
  • Cost & Volume Summary
  • User Profile
  • Top 100 Documents
  • Comparison
  • Active User List

On each dashboard, the structure is composed of the dashboard launchers on the left hand side, with the main content / components in the middle and then the filters on the right hand side.

The dashboard launchers are individual components that reside on every single dashboard, excluding the Comparison page*. The dashboard launchers are HTML components, which do not contain any customer print data, but are just staging areas to launch HTML / CSS code.

*This is a caveat of Parent / Child dashboards, as only a single main component can be used. So therefore, we cannot add additional HTML components.

Each launcher is linked to its associated dashboard, which is then opened into a new tab. As the dashboard launchers are individual components, it therefore means they refresh on every single new tab or page refresh – it isn’t static content that moves from dashboard to dashboard.

With the launchers, there’s two main states they are displayed. There is an ‘active’ state which is indicated by a light-gray bar across its name. It’s other state is ‘inactive’ which removes that bar from its name. The ‘active’ state is only shown when the user is present on that dashboard.

Additionally, not all dashboards are shown on the left-hand side. This is by design, as some pages are meant to be navigated to via the paths designed in the print management solution. If users wish to enter those dashboard however, they can be navigated to via the main menu system via the icon in the top right.

With the implementation of Intuitive for SAFEQ6, QR codes are linked to a single YouTube video for a ‘how-to’ for that page.

The main content of each dashboard varies, as each one has been designed to take the user on a journey through their data and tell a story. You will have learnt about this through our prior Sales-based modules, which you can return to for a refresher. However, on the right-hand side of each dashboard, you’ll usually find our filters.

The filters typically sit on the right hand side to help give some muscle-memory for using newly added dashboards. Each filter has been designed to work with that particular dashboard, as the filters are specific to the kind of data that page should be filtering by.

The Intuitive for SAFEQ6 dashboards are currently available in English in either GBP or USD, or alternatively in French in EUR. Should you have any other opportunities in other markets, please get in touch with Intuitive to discuss your requirements.

On a final note, should customers wish to change the dashboard and software styling, there are a breadth of options they can change, including, but not limited to:

  • Banner colour
  • Dashboard launchers  / launcher background
  • Logos
