Editing a dashboard
Editing a dashboard is possible when logged in as either a Dashboard Designer, System Designer or System Administrator. The 'Dashboard Builder' menu item is available only to these types of user. If you want to edit dashboards but don't currently have permission, please contact your dashboard system administrator.
It is only possible to edit dashboards that you have access to. You can edit dashboards under the following circumstances:
- You created the dashboard and did not publish it, in which case it resides in your personal unpublished folder.
- You created the dashboard and published it into one or more groups, in which case you will locate it in those groups.
- The dashboard was created by another designer who published it and additionally chose the option 'allow other designers to edit this object'.
To edit a dashboard
1 Click the Menu button.
2 Select Dashboard Builder from the menu.
3 Click the Edit Dashboard button.
4 Select the dashboard and begin editing as you wish.
