FAQ
Editing components on a dashboard
While viewing a dashboard, given permission, it is possible to directly open one of its components in edit mode. Editing components directly from a dashboard is only possible for users who have at least the Dashboard Designer role, are members of a group to which the component was published, and the publisher has granted 'edit' permissions to other dashboard designers.Note that if you edit a component on a published dashboard, all other users who have access to this dashboard will see these changes.
To open a component in edit mode:
- While you are viewing a dashboard, navigate to the cog symbol in the top right corner of the component you would like to edit.
- Select 'Edit Component'
- You can now edit the component.
