Hosting Multiple Dashboard Webpages

For some dashboard server installations it may be desirable to configure the dashboards to support multiple clients. This can be achieved by setting up a new virtual directory for each client within Internet Information Services (IIS). Doing so allows each dashboard webpage to be tailored for each client.

Steps to configure Intuitive Dashboards to work using multiple virtual directories.

1)     Create a folder on the server hosting the dashboards.

2)     Within the folder create a sub folder i.e. Apple.

3)   Copy the client folder that can found in the following location: C:\Program Files\Intuitive Business Intelligence\Intuitive Dashboards\Client into each of the sub folders you have created.

4)     Within the client folder replace the images to ones that reflect the clients branding. Ensure the new images have the same name and meet the size requirements.

5)     Delete or rename the Web.config file in each of the sub folders you have copied the client folder. Shown in the image above.

6)     Within Internet Information Services (IIS) click on the webpage used to displayed the dashboard. Then select add virtual directory.
