Entities (Components, Dashboards etc.) are assigned/owned to their 'creator' by default. Other users may be assigned permission (during the publication process) to 'edit' certain entities, but the entities are still assigned/owned by the user who created them.
However, it is sometimes necessary to reassign the 'ownership' of entities from one user to another for various reasons. For example, if a designer leaves the organisation. This can be done for specific entities one at a time or for all of a user's entities at once, depending on the need.
To reassign entities:
Applies to v.5.1 onward.
1 Navigate to Main Menu > Admin > Users. Select the user you wish to assign the entities from.
2 Select 'Reassign All Entities' using the toolbar
icon.
3 Select or search for the recipient user.
4 Select Reassign.
