FAQ
Resetting/Expiring password
For systems with Internal Authentication, administrators have two options available when handling password issues:
1 If a user has completely forgotten their password, it is possible to reset and issue a temporary password.
2 For users who know their existing password but need to create a new one, then the administrator can expire the users existing password. Upon their next login, they will be prompted to change their password.
These changes can be applied by navigating to Main Menu > Admin > Users, selecting the desired user and the appropriate option from the toolbar:
Applies to v.5.1 onward.
For Active Directory users, this is done externally by the Active Directory Admin.
