Selecting a component type
The default component type is a chart, however changing component types in the component builder resets any changes you have made. Hence, it is best practice to begin by selecting the type of component you wish to build.
You can select one of the available component types by choosing any of the 'type' icons along the toolbar:
Chart, Grid, Gauge, HTML
Once you have selected a component type, you can now drag-and-drop the dataset columns required from the dataset shown left of the screen to the component shown on the right.
