Selecting a dashboard from the menu

You can select and view any dashboards that you have been given permission to access. Dashboards are contained within two main groups:

• Global – dashboards that are available to all users within the same user group as you.
• Unpublished – dashboards that only you can access and are not be available to others. You will only have unpublished items if you are a Dashboard Designer.

To select the dashboard from the menu:

1   Click the Menu button, which is displayed on top right of the screen.



2   Select View Dashboard to display the Dashboard Navigator. 

3  All dashboards that you have access to will be displayed within the Dashboard Navigator screen. 
    Expand the groups until you find the dashboard you want to select and view. 
    If you hover your cursor over the dashboard name, a summary of the dashboard contents is displayed.



4   When selecting a dashboard in the HTML5 client, it is possible to enter a few characters or the name of the dashboard you are looking for and hit the Enter key to automatically search through the tree view and select all entities that match your search criteria.



5   Click the dashboard you want to open and it will be displayed on a new tab within the dashboard application.
