FAQ
Using a Master Component
How to use a Master component on a Master-Detail dashboard
- A Master-Detail dashboard contains a master component, signified by the text [Master] within the component title. The Master component can be used to control the content of the other components.
- By selecting one of the values in the master component, the other components in the dashboard are filtered according to the value selected. In this example, selecting ‘Sales’ filters all other components to only show statistics for this department.
- To change the Master filter, simply select on a different department within the Master
- To remove the Master filter, select the refresh symbol within the Master component
