FAQ
Viewing a Standard dashboard
A standard dashboard is one in which all the components are independent of each other. An action performed on one component will not affect the content of the other components contained within the dashboard.
When a dashboard filter is applied to a standard dashboard, the software filters components together according to the underlying dataset in use by each. It is possible to link different datasets together so any filter applied to one dataset is automatically applied to the other dataset. These are know as linked filters.
A standard dashboard does not contain the text [Master] or [Parent] in any component titles.
