FAQ
Setting groups up for security filters - V5.2 and earlier.
When preparing groups for use with security filters, note that nothing needs to be published to these groups for them to affect the data returned to the user. The security filter combines the selected attribute of all the groups a user has access to within a single OR statement.
The selected group attribute - either the group name or security identifier - must exactly match the values in the dataset column otherwise no information will be returned.
To see how group allocation affects the data returned to the user, review worked example.
