Creating components
Components are the building blocks of dashboards and component creation is the first step in building a dashboard.
Creating components and dashboards is limited to users with Dashboard Designer, System Designer or System Administrator privileges.
Firstly, you must create a dataset (or have an existing dataset published to you). Each components is based on a single dataset and the first stage to creating a component is to select a dataset.
